Filing avoidance
Should anyone ask, I have decided to claim that I like the gut-wrenching sensation of an impending deadline. How else to explain my reluctance to file the required revenue reports? I do have until next Thursday evening, and if the internet closes, then a lot of us will be in the same position; millions of us, last report.
The silly part is that I’m just asking for my own money back; “they” know all my financial details, already.
After consultation, the family seems decided to hire a skilled artisan. Seems that spreading mud on a large area of the new basement walls is too big to tackle. I don’t know; my background doesn’t include much job site experience. I am willing to learn. I have been outvoted.
The others are watching another UK series: The Midwives. All I can catch, due to inattentiveness, is that pet pigs in the home are not a good idea. Must ask the others for their opinion. Maybe we can revote on the “mud on the walls” issue.
We took delivery of some new furniture (left packaged for retransport). Takes up space, and my normal travel paths while half asleep in the dark are now risky behaviour. Just one more incentive to change our penates to the new digs. Along with a bunch of other stuff… I am ready, already.
That odd little order for Raspberry Pi RTC boards arrived. The one I cancelled, after waiting seven weeks. Minor bump to the online sales model. If I ever meet the seller, through some extremely odd juxtaposition, we’ll have to renegotiate what to do about the pair of toonies I now owe.
