Regrind the ground

posted in technology |

Park the GTO, Jake. Other things to get done. Seriously, after six seasons, ROD has ended. With the content packed into the final five minutes, I’m still a bit out of breath. Good work!

Back at home, I had to put part of the evening into REgrinding coffee. Seems that the nice lady at the bean bin remembered to grind one of the two bags to my order. The other; not so much. Come on! You had one job to do…

This was a blustery day in my neighbourhood. Not enough snow to close things down (other than the highways in the area), but nasty for anyone who had to go on a milk run. The local school board covered their chairs nicely, by telling parents that not every storm is a storm. Parents should use their best judgement and keep their children close to the heart; the school board would make sure that the per diem from the government rolled in, regardless.

Received another short set of photos from the house site. Progress. Just a little.

Also announced today is the date for the final Letterman show. Passing of an era; I purchased a VHS recorder, way back when, just to be able to timeshift his monologues. Have to admit, though, I haven’t watched his hour of power in years. Times, and tastes, change. Now, a good book is a much better cap for an evening at home.

In Montreal, the funeral of a famous hockey player. Elsewhere in the province, a court order to remove a backyard rink.
