Music is its own excuse
It wasn’t an impulse purchase; it was a rational need. I am being held prisoner in a dog-controlled room, and the lack of musical opportunity made me detour into that music store up the road. No impulse, either, because I waited a full ninety minutes for the store to open. OK, maybe there was some spontaneous behaviour, but the price was excellent. $50 for a Line 6 Mobile Keys 25… That comes out to $2/key, and I had the necessary cabling and related software and… OK, it followed me home. Final version.
Moving right along. While on campus, the dog and I were in a small room and when I attached his harness to a convenient pipe, he did the Houdini Shrug. Moral: do not let him out of your sight (and reach).
I haven’t visited Boston (yet), but after watching a short documentary on the Charles River, my understanding of their urban renewal commitment is much greater than it was only a day ago. Thank you, TV…
Turns out that when hotel wifi goes workers, people notice. Just like at work. I had to join a lineup of clients who had list their feed. More important than AC or cable in the modern world. This modern world. If I can’t have an IP address, what else is there to do?
Note that I still haven’t fallen in the pool, or tripped on the treadmill, or sweated in the sauna. Is there a sauna? Must check that out tomorrow.
Since the weather is staying seasonal, maybe I should “range further afield” in future.
