Early for the party

Well, it happened. Sir Cousin Paul and his wife have arrived in Charlottetown. VIP treatment in PEI style; the plane let them off a few metres short of the main door so they could go in through the baggage area.
No matter. The happy tourists are on the Island. They’ve come to observe the annual seal hunt that a) is scheduled to start in three weeks, b) only if the ice gets thick enough c) over in the Magdalen Islands. Somewhere, some travel agent is obviously an overpaid incompetent.
Elsewhere, the bloggers are full of “I saw them”s…
