A change in colour
Out with the blue and in with the grey. After a leisurely (but expensive) second visit to the auto dealer, the deed is done. The Versa has morphed into a Rogue.
I’m a little overwhelmed. We’ve gone from about as budget conscious as we could have been to “look, Dad! There’s even a sun roof!” And a backup camera; don’t skip the important stuff. The package is not complete, since the roof rack is on “any day now order”, but I can begin imagining weeks with more cargo area. And a dog. Consider that to be the compromise.
And now I’m home, where I can’t even see the driveway. Blue or grey, it’s all just a matter of detailing. I did purchase the battery charger that will allow me to test and top up any free gel cells that pass this way. Prepared for emergencies! Or, I will be, soon. Right now, I’d have to go with whatever the civil authorities offered (probably a thin blanket and some bad coffee in the back of a smelly bus).
At work, we (the IT team), are back to trying to figure out how a wifi based projector will work out. The equipment is there; all that remains is some testing. I spent the latter part of this afternoon watching my computer screen via a videoconference camera in another part of the building pointed at a whiteboard. Or, in layman’s terms, doing things the hard way. For the record, screen resolution suffered greatly. But I recognize that advances in technology sometimes come from simple beginnings.
