Breed is more than colour
After careful study (and a pinch of Gestalt), I declare that a four day weekend is superior to the two day variety. Pity that there won’t be another chance to test the hypothesis for many moons.
Right now, I’m witness to a discussion of “the dog is probably this breed”, based on some colour patches and not much else. Since the others don’t agree with my take on things, I’m observing from a safe and silent distance. The dog and I know the truth.
The string of decorative lights that were placed in the tree out front have been removed. Now we can get on with the planned change of seasons.
Looks like I’m going to have to do some hard drive cleanup. I’m running out of storage space, which is a symptom (of something). No comments from the “peanut gallery”, in case I’ve developed an allergy.
Outside temperature jumped the psychological limit of 20C today. I can start dreaming about life in a tent again. And I can prepare a tent for son #2 and his upcoming cyclo-tour. That’s the blog equivalent to tying a string around my finger. The return of warm weather means that I can also call the pool store and find out about the price of a new liner without feeling like a total idiot. Hard to discuss things like pool repair when there’s a solid accumulation of ice over everything. We (the family) will have to decide on repair or refuse based on the price, since our swimming habits hardly justify any expenditure.
