Storage options

Today was my day off. I left the family behind and rejoined the bus army for a trip out to the university campus. Let’s be clear; although all universities are not created equal, the spirit of a campus is universal. My trajectory took me to the main library building via a stretch of black ice on black marble stones. Invisible. My magical transformation from vertical to horizontal was fit for a cartoon; thankfully I did a true “breakfall” and only my pride was injured.

As I was saying, the atmosphere of a good library is universal. I would have no trouble with a lifetime seeking knowledge. From there to the provincial archives which is just a library with a special collection, I was able to spend the morning without needing to check the time. Low stress. Also, the archive citizens are quiet, well-behaved and of a “certain age” which leads to the question “Am I getting nervously close to my senior citizen status?”

We went shopping for a new camera bag this evening; sales are good times to buy such things. One of the local stores had more sacks and carry-alls and paniers for the photographer in the family than anything else; we bought two. Just think, one of us can now rearrange the internal divisions until the ultimate camera apartment is ready for show in the equivalent of Modern Homes. All that for under a hundred bucks.
