Evolving with a bigger ride

posted in technology |

I was inevitable. I collect old movies. And I don’t always watch them in a timely fashion. The going to live forever thought system. Anyhow, I was skimming several titles this evening, trying to find a badly remembered sequence, and I learned that some of my titles are junk. Not the original movie; the badly copied versions that seem to be created in a middle-school data test. I’ll replace those that I notice, since I have a long range view, but why can’t stuff be done properly from the get go.

The RV is off to be re-shod. Hate to use a horse analogy, but getting new tires installed is best compared to what the blacksmith would have done, back in earlier times in history. By this time tomorrow, we should be good for the next 50K of road wear. Unsure if that’s measured in miles or kilometers.

And today, we renewed the comforter cover. It (the cover) had run its course, and dog claws are hard on threadbare cotton.

The new electric school bus fleet is finished with its first season, and the kids love them. I haven’t seen (or heard) one yet, but the ghostly quiet must unnerve some of the riders. I think that the idea needs to be applauded, and expanded.

No photos yet, but it seems that son #1 is moving beyond the subcompact ride and into something designed for  the off-roader. I mentioned that our roads aren’t THAT bad, but he has dreams. And I guess having something higher and wider (and heavier and more expensive) is part of his plan for the future
