An odd dance

posted in politics |

Odd dance going on in our home; I’m trying to “lose” a stone, and my partner for this waltz managed to tweak during a twerk; gardening can be a physical sport. We’re moving slow, hence the waltz tempo. We’re also waiting for a return to something easier to follow. The dog seems bemused. Or amused. I have trouble reading his expressions.

This was moving day for son #1. Not far. Up one storey. He did take the time to give us a tour of the new digs, via FaceTime. Given the limitations on our visiting any time soon, I’ll have forgotten the details, but I think I can handle it. Nothing seems to be colour-coded, and the parking lot remains the same. The other brothers are staying put.

Another mass gravesite, at a former residential school. Three provinces, side by each, and we’re just beginning the investigations. I think that a lot of people are going to be soured on the guilty churches.

To the south, the King of Jello Pudding will be released from prison, after conflicting promises were made by different DA offices. You would think that the level of communication would be better, but this is the law with a political slant. It might be that we have similar stupidity, but I wonder how the average citizen accepts the double-dealing. All the time, everywhere. For a nation built on laws, there are a surprising number of misfires in the cannons. Perhaps they’re due for another revolution. Or a simple reflection on how their national model is flawed.
