Make and bake or buy
I’m sorry to report that the weather forecasts have been wrong. Not only did we not get the big heat they predicted, but the thunder storm that started our way from “up west” petered out close to St. Peters. I was looking forward to something interesting!
I did check the temperature reading in the RV, which was up around the 35C mark. Safe bet that there will be no need to have snow blown in the next few weeks. As a sidenote, we also paid the snowblower man, who had neglected to send any sort of account notice. We made a bet that he’d like what we paid, last season, and if an adjustment is due, I’ll offer to up the ante for the winter of ’21-’22. Long term planning.
Son #1 has decided that searching for a house is just a study in frustration. He’s renewed his lease, and now we wait for corrections in a crazy market. I mean, folks don’t have unlimited budget elasticity. My own mortgage adjustment is in, and I will pay $13 less per month going forward. I guess that’s a good thing. One more pizza every four weeks. I’m considering that it’s time to make my own pizza dough. Found some recipes that allow me to use bread machine yeast (I have lots in the fridge). See how it tastes. I’ll have to order some cold cuts and cheeses and sauce, I guess. Or I could order an all-dress from one of the local places (learned that we have more than one). No decisions yet, because I’m not that hungry right now.
