Flawed border strategy

posted in food, health |

How self-sufficient am I? Well, I’m making bread before bed. A quick translation: I filled the bread machine, and if my timing is accurate, I’ll have things cleaned and stowed before sleeping. It’s not that I prefer my robot to food from the market. More that I’m unwilling to walk that far for some additional carbohydrates.

Quiet around here. The electrician might stop by, tomorrow, for some ceiling light installs, and after that we are in for a round of mudding. Quiet around here. I managed to empty the “next” workspace; looks like this.

Had a request from son #3, to see if I had concert footage with him as the star. Don’t think so. I mean, he’s quite capable of putting on a show, but the actual DVD from almost a decade ago… no idea if I ever had it. I used my common sense, and suggested contacting the school staff. Teachers keep such things in drawers.

The public is picking on the government, in ON. They want to know why vaccinations were paused for the last week. Good question, actually. Nothing in the medical plan book points to a need to keep tensions up. If you’ve got ‘em, inject ‘em, right? I should check with my sister, in case she has an in with the thinkers.

Around here, we’re playing with small numbers. As in, two more today. Come from aways. To those that believe borders keep everyone out; not so much. I would have knocked down a few sections of the big bridge, given the risks. We can always make bread, locally.
