Grilled vs nuked
Another afternoon among friends. Or at least, with a friend. How did forty-five years go by, so quickly? Do I feel like I’m getting old? Not usually, but forty-five years. That puts me back to a time BC (before children), when vinyl records and stubby bottles were a thing. And when my phone was tethered in place (actually, no change there).
I should probably concentrate on the supper meal. Or not. I have bubbly water, after a cylinder recharge. And all that extra dog fur? Well, our pooch had company, as well. Perhaps some reading, since the ebook reader has also been recharged, albeit via a different process.
Outside, another full driveway scene. When the UPS rig pulled in, I wondered if it would manage to leave (it did, and the always turning right driving model has been disproven.) The parcel delivery model, locally, is something that I love to watch. Trying to discern a procedural pattern, etc. I mean, I could go back to retail visits, but this is a guessing game.
I have been gifted a bundle of sweet corn, in its original wrapping. Now to decide what method of cooking will deliver the best flavour. Apparently “raw” is not recommended. Perhaps a quick “nuked” option, in the microwave, with a butter treatment? Or some time on the BBQ; it also comes highly recommended. This is where YouTube and cookbooks prove their worth.
My list of reasons for not upgrading our LAN topology is getting shorter. All of the necessary cables are in, and now all that remains is my effort.
