Finally, a quarantine tester
Another break in the routine. This evening, we have a second dog (a loaner from a neighbour). It really isn’t just my dog that has a failure to communicate; this one also avoids conversation, and seems attentive to the possibility of food. Could it be that dogs don’t talk much?
I took the time while waiting for the BBQ to heat up to add some more duct tape to my tear repair. Who knows? Maybe I can get through the rest of this season before purchasing a replacement cover.
We had some thunder, earlier. No special effects, so I’m putting this one in the books as “missed opportunity”. Some day, the camera will capture the image of my lifetime, and I can move on from photo admiration to photo appreciation.
Watching, with great interest, as a relative and his family try “vacation with quarantine”. Fourteen days in a cottage, with wine supplied. That two weeks would be a killer for many of my acquaintances (not because isolation; because vacation is limited). In this case, a professional with enough time to play by all the rules. Who knows? Maybe we’ll get a drive by. You can see that I hope my kids can adopt this model, before the return of winter.
Hey, the guy who could have made me a millionaire is gone! Mr. Philbin died, and my chances of getting rich quickly have dropped from slim to none. He came to the Island, some years back. People still talk about it. None of them scored the big win, either.
