Vinegar? Check.

posted in environment, technology |

How boring is my life? Well, I just checked the release date forecasts for iOS14. Anyone arriving here from a search engine, take note. I DO NOT know. I have no relevant information. It’s just that (in numerical sequence), that should be the next major update for the iPad and iPhone. It might even arrive before I cancel my phone contract.

Earlier this week, I took the time to chat with a service rep from the phone company. Something about getting the smartphone “unlocked”, before any future travel sessions. And it wasn’t hard; after trading the secret numbers from the inner guts of my phone (virtually), I learned that mine is already good to go. No idea how that came about, but why argue? Now, I can show up in a storefront, purchase a SIM with enhanced data allowances and simply carry on (using Skype). Not the path recommended, but I don’t intend to actually talk on my phone unless emergency, etc.

My big buy at the general store, today, included three gallons of vinegar. No idea why, but I had a list. If ever the need to pickle something comes along, I am prepared.

Outside, like inside, we’re doing summer. Last evening, it almost thundered. (Apparently it did, far to the west). Today, the birds and the bees are busy, along with a colony of tiny ants that seem to have adopted one of the sugary feeders. It’s on a window, so I can see a steady procession, just like in a movie. Do ants carry tiny buckets as part of the gear load?
