The Green Machine is off on tour, or something
The Green Machine has gone for a ride. I don’t know the why, but a man with a trailer arrived in the yard this evening. He took the scenic route, down below, and I had to explain that winter isn’t officially over so we still have the GM in the garage.
I didn’t pre-charge the battery, so any semblance of normal start and go was impossible; we actually had to “boost” the beast with cables and a battery, before getting it up the ramp and away for seasonal maintenance. I hope the flat tire is on the to-do list.
This was my afternoon to move stone. Tiny stone. Gravel, actually. The snowplow tends to blow a certain quantity onto the “real” lawn, and my efforts to rake and shovel the detritus were sort of successful . Maybe, after some much needed rain, I can try again. Dust reduction dreams.
The post office announced a delivery, but it’s rapidly getting dark outside, so I’m going to assume this was just wishful thinking. On both our parts. Maybe tomorrow, right?
One of my nieces did a “gender reveal” for twins that are in the production phase. I’m really glad the video came with an audio track, because I couldn’t see the announced colour; that must mean girls. I still can catch blue in a biscuit, but pink escapes me. Months to go before the babies are actually in the house, and now that we know the gender, any other reveals will be superfluous. Thankfully. I actually preferred the method from a bygone era, where we knew the outcome only when the job was complete.
