Tunes, snow and an improved game world
My kids laugh at me, because I’ve got the music in me. Put on headphones, some tunes, and the groove oozes from between my joints. Maybe it’s time for a visit to one of their places, where people slam or skank or whatever it is that they do; I can laugh louder and longer. For now, I’m just going to listen to Bob Sinclar and let the rhythm take me.
But that’s not important, is it? Right now, gas is selling locally for $0.89/litre which is amazing. The snow has started, and my drive back from the hardware store was pretty. Not scary, though, because my snow tires are “keeping me safe”. I’ve bought enough plastic tubing to try building yet another antenna for outside.
I spent today in a training session for the newest version of the CMS at work. The two (young) programmers were keen about their product; knowledgeable, at ease with the dozens of arcane screens and toolbars and tricks that allow far too much content to be managed. I’m left hoping that someone actually consults the hundreds of virtual pages of information, because we’ve got things under control. At least, for now – I have this sick feeling that our team will remember nothing when a question comes up several weeks down the road.
The latest upgrade to World of Warcraft has sneaked into the house. Apparently some keeners were waiting at the door of the game shop last evening for midnight, when the world should either be settling in for late night talk TV or sleeping. Things are intense here right now; I’ll wait until later in the week to ask if there is something new or interesting in the badlands.
