Prime binges
Deep inside, I know the action is wrong. However, we seem to have a subscription to Amazon Prime, and suddenly TV just improved. The choice, I mean. We watched two seasons (all there is) of the latest iteration of The Tick, in a couple of evenings, and now I want more.
Any series that can make it from a comic book, to a cartoon on Saturday morning, to several versions of “real” in movie-speak, has some merit. This time around, a wonderful concoction of whimsy and sci-fi, and I hope there will be a new season, soon.
The transient electrician returned this afternoon. He leaves at the end of the week, apparently, so this job was taken on as a favour, but I now have more plugs and lights in the basement (eventually). He pulled some wire, changed out some breakers and was on his way to a new life in the jungle. One more anecdote in the construction of my home. In passing, we first visited the interior about five years ago, so even though this is a factory built home, it is far from instantaneous.
More fox visits; the dog now awaits evenings. We’re getting rid of some terrible chewy strips that (even) the dog wouldn’t accept, so I think of the red rover as a recycler of proteins. This will not be a regular thing (I have been assured, and I assure you). Wild animals don’t need the benefits of domestication. That said, if it gets really cold outside, and an emergency shelter is required…
