Bricks and time
While watching some “old” TV, produced in the previous century, I found myself saying “Whoa!” Some of the things that are stated by various people would not pass the PC test any more. And that’s a good thing.
Inevitable. Folks in the UK are starting to take this whole Brexit thing more seriously. Today, photos and interviews with certain among certain of the population who are now stockpiling food and medications, in case the whole situation takes a left turn. Or right. Whatever. The country may be in for a rough time, unless the politically minded get their strategies straight. Or as the rest of the world says, “you can’t fix stupid”. Wiser minds, across the Channel, agree that a bit more thinking time might help.
A friend forwarded a short video, where a woman shows off her collection of musical instruments. My reaction? COOL. I wonder if I should put together my own teaser. The DSLR does video, and it wouldn’t take very long to create and narrate. I just need to learn how to put those text labels onscreen. There should be something on YouTube to help me learn the basics. I’d have to figure out a playlist, I guess. Maybe I could take requests from family members.
A day where I wish I had a large collection of LEGO. CNN has featured a small car (a Bugatti) created with bricks and time. Over 2300 motors, and a formidable 13,000 hours invested (don’t consider the price) to make a car you can actually drive, until it hits a bump and returns to random plastic forms.
