Wetter than before
Keeping with the idea that the most important news stories are local, it rained today. Not a lot (19mm) but it came with fury, shock and awe. This evening, there will be no reason to run the sprinkler, and although an all-time record was set, this morning, we can go back to believing in clement climate. Actually, the local farmers are happier. Comparative. Without water, those precious potatoes will remain tiny. I know, they boil faster, but there are limits. In the real world, who wants a French fry that is shorter than your thumb? Someone posted a menu from a local food truck, in passing.
