Another brick laid
I once read a wonderful quotation, that said “The one with the most musical instruments wins.” Well, I could never have permitted myself to do this, but we went out and bought a new bass guitar today, for son #2.
I’ve always thought that the bass was a noble instrument, and I’ve been the guardian of one that has server well for more than thirty years now, but to just go out and buy a new one; didn’t dare. Now it is done.
There is no census for musical instruments, but safe to say that our house has more than enough for a family of five. With the risk of another band forming and wanting to use the basement as practice space, one must remain “Semper preparatis”. Hence, the new kid on the block should fit right in, next to the drum set that I am also guarding, and the various amps, and…
