Decisions, decisions

About once a month, my professional life involves “running” a videoconference for the decisional team. I make sure that a member can assist (attend) a meeting without the necessary pain of spending half the day in transit.

Sometimes, I think that those who are present by the most modern means available to us are on the “winning” part of the team. If ever I was asked to bear witness to the decisions made during one of the meeting, I’d be hard put to identify what was the result, in concrete terms. Does approving a motion to present a motion to another group of deciders count? How many of those decisions add up to a valuable session? Do I seem lost in the semantics?
