My new flow of consciousness

posted in genealogy, humour |

Looking outside, I don’t quite know how I should approach that whole question of “what does one wear?”. Yesterday, no snow on the ground. This morning, very white. This afternoon, no snow on the ground. This evening, very white. Pardon my confusion.

This has been an “easy winter”; the man that clears the lane will do well, financially. After seeing photos from other areas (NB, ME, QC), the weather has stayed well west of me. I’m sure there are more surprises between now and the lawn, but my boots are also going to last for another year. A plus.

My life is reduced to sending memes to my kids. How did I miss out on this teaching tool until now? Say nothing, send a photo, let their minds do all the work. Why, just yesterday, I found a cute kid (a goat). And today, typographic errors in the newspaper, in a paragraph on a recent politic interview… the mayor said he would trick the public with carefully placed content, in order to detect leaks. Does that count when the newspaper is illiterate? Didn’t think so.

What about a magnet, falling slowly through a copper pipe (some special physics concept with the title Lorentz forces)? I suggested that it would make a great amusement in a particular beer emporium. Always with the good ideas, me! Not sure the kids (not the goat) are thrilled with my new flow of conscious thought, but with so much media and so much time, I have to share the wealth. In the absence of gold, obviously.

My family tree database passed the 76K mark this evening.
