Confused mall-rats, part 2

posted in economy |

Today was a whole other day from yesterday. I went to a different mall, and if one can have a bad shopping day, this was it. We purchased a selection of books, for son # 3 and found that he already had them. No returns, even on sealed merchandise, so we now have a hefty credit on file for another time. I don’t need another time, but…

In another store, I waited and waited and waited to have my chance to pay for my purchase. My mistake was to ask “why?” since there was nobody else in line. I was told that if I didn’t like it, to take my business elsewhere. Thanks for the advice; I shall…

In a third, we purchased a quantity of blank media which simply didn’t “work” once we got home. Agreed, that’s not the store’s problem, but after three strikes, the shopping desire is out of juice.

We do have a kneeling chair now, so I can say prayers before going back out to buy anything else.
