Subcontracted meringue
What trumps a lemon meringue pie? Two of them, of course! The order came in, shortly before suppertime, to provide something in the dessert category. Just by chance, my packaged materials hinted at double the fun for not much more effort, and so here you have it. I subcontracted the meringue, given that I don’t have my operator’s permit for the new KitchenAid mixer (yet).
