Performing inventory
In the heat of the moment (or the warmth; all is relative), my decision seemed logical. I had a bag of kitchen scraps to take out to the dumpster, and the snow storm was raging. A compromise was reached, with the bag carefully placed, outside, near the door. Later on, I could get dressed properly and head around into the wind.
