Talk to me. Here, in the microphone. And that’s where the budget goes out the window.
My new online course has begun, and I’ve spent the afternoon learning a little about choosing microphones. Arcane. More than a science, if you hold with the various reviews and guides out there. It seems that there is a perfect microphone, but it was locked away in a vault, a long time ago, and they only bring it out to record the greatest artist. Since that crown is wanted by many and held by nobody, the mike has not been seen within living memory.
