One of life’s simple pleasures
Things started out innocently. Imagine a hungry bass going for a shiny lure. Son #3, half asleep and unaware of the wiles of the spyware world, armed with a copy of IE7. Along comes the flashy popup, warning that the computer might be infected with unwanted software. Just click here. He did, and I received a call at work that one of the machines now had some extra programs on board. Please disconnect from the network and I’ll see to it when I get home this evening.
