First road trial
Essex Wessex and Sussex. Can you guess where I am? No I did not cross the ocean. Small town in central New Brunswick. We are on the road finally. this is actually our first road trip. And of course it rained. A lot. Enough that we had to slow down for flooding.
Our first shopping trip was to Walmart. It can be so confusing when you don’t know your way around the store. I was smart enough to stay close to others. And after that we went for supper. Fish and chips of course. This is still Atlantic Canada. I made a small visit to the washrooms. I had a guide who was also blind. What are the chances. But when I was put outside to stand by myself with my cane I just was glad I did not have a tin cup.
This is really my first Test of dictation so far it seems to be going well. Waiting for sundown so I can speak more loudly. A ghostly voice from a van. Of course lying in bed results of the problem of hiccups. No big deal. How long until sundown is all I want to know.
We decided to take a minimum of hardware along on this trip. No laptop, no fancy tablet, just the simple tools. We will reevaluate in a few days and see if this will be the new way to blog.
This is living in a new space and so we have to think about our moves ahead of time. For example turning the front seat around before I get it if I wanted to be facing the other way. I did not know that. All in good time. We have an appointment tomorrow morning at less then an hour from here so boondocking makes perfect sense.
