Regional disparity
Questions, on instant replay, if you will. How many answers can you get, the second time around? One of our simple pleasures, at home, costs very little. Actually, only our time. We watch streamed episodes of Jeopardy. The catch is that once in a while, not only is the episode condensed, but actual questions and answers get skipped. If you are willing to continue your search, it is possible to find alternate recordings, and you get the added fun of re-watching part of the show.
Here’s another fun game to play. Not always pleasant, but go ahead and re-shop for items you have already purchased. Go for the big ticket ones, where possible. Ask yourself if the item will cost more or less. I still haven’t figured out how this fits into inflation, but I have lots of time to play the game.
Our dog is disturbed. The foxes come to watch him, on their version of TV, where they stay just out of reach and yawn at him. I don’t know if his parents prepared him for the scorn of a wild animal.
My regional bias is showing here. I have found that some of the best comedy on the tube comes from the Rock. Doesn’t have to be new either. Right now, there is some material from Mary Walsh, and I am enthralled. My take on things is that living on an Island is a good thing. I am biased. How much bigger does this province have to be to get its own version of humor? Who should I ask. And that is not a joke.
