Purify
For several days now, one of my weather apps has been offering an enigmatic Special Weather Statement. A veiled warning, possibly. By yesterday, we were convinced that there was a snow storm due on the next gust of wind. And there was not. However, the dog just came in, a day later, and his dark fur was veiled in white snow, which was immediately shook off onto the living room floor. Enough talk about the weather.
Lately, there has been a lot of buzz about AI. Artificial Intelligence. Life, as controlled by an algorithm. I have my own take on that. You may have guessed that I watch a lot of YT where my next video comes from what I had watched before. That algorithm. I had no idea that there were so many videos devoted to water purification, until I started seeking ideas for a portable system.
Let’s start with a given. Our local water is pretty good. And based on my own travel, most of the water offered to strangers is potable. Very few deaths reported. The question, then, is how much effort should I put into keeping my coffee water clean. How much water will I consume, even in the peak of summer. And will I need to obsess over my next included in a home brew solution. That is, if I don’t just buy something off the shelf. Lots of options. There is a commercial water filter, in a box, downstairs. Never installed. However, the unit might get repurposed.
