Black faded to blue
Dogs actually like certain humans. The two species will share a common bed (not our dog, but he is special). Other dogs, yes. Warmth, mutual production, whatever. We have a loaner dog that comes over for the night, sometimes. Willing to snuggle. Last night, for example, while his persons were off to the other side for a visit to extended family. Did you know that some people are allergic to dogs? How unfortunate. I can’t get close to cats, but dogs?
Anyhow, we made it through the night, with no predators. That’s a good thing, out here in the wilds. So what can I conclude? All dogs are not the same. Some will take a huge amount of space, and hog the covers. Warmth. Yes, I could turn up the heat inside, but that would be too warm for all involved. And our loaner dog is back home. Preparing mentally for his next visit, I hope.
My need to learn has me studying printing technology. Early type, if you will excuse the double entendre. I don’t intend to invest in anything of the sort, having survived years of dot matrix with ribbons. That’s where you sprayed WD40 on the ribbon. A false economy, but it seemed like a great plan at the time. I no longer have a trusty Gemini around here, because I discovered lasers. Also, cheap ink fades from black to pale blue. For the record. A system that I found so appealing, a generation ago. File lost and personal letters. Nothing of great importance.
