Avoid the kiss
We now follow a number of blogs. And bloggers, I guess. Too much free time on our hands, and the price is right.
Today, a family (3 adults, one cat) were pointing out the wildlife in their current location. FL, maybe; Proud mention of the wild monkeys. OK, we have wild foxes. Then, mention of the alligators. We have wild seals. And there are birds. We also have birds. Claudia Cardinal, among others. Yes, I might go south, some day. Not because of the wildlife. We have that covered. Nor because of the warm weather. We have cold AND warm, on alternating dates.
Obviously, there is more interesting content in these vlogs than the animal life. I am interested in the equipment that keeps the people mobile. Today’s family drives a bigger rig than we do. More axles. More holding tanks. Slides. And like anything else, there can be complications. Having more than two axles can lead to an unscheduled kiss, when the rear and the nose get too close. Expensive, by moments. With two axles and due care and attention, getting the ends of your rig that close requires really terrible luck
If you watch enough vlog content, the personalities emerge. Interesting, that someone would adopt a nomad lifestyle by choice. I can travel, but my sticks and stones home keeps me warm and happy, with a predictable mailing address. I have done my time with a bedroll, and my current life choices are the right ones for getting older. Wiser. Ask around. I have neighbours, and they don’t change, day by day.
