Anorher shingle chase
Another blustery night, up at the point. “Blew real good” as one pundit said. We had been warned, so we went to bed early. Turns out that sitting in the corner with a blanket over the top will do nothing to abate the winds of winter. Pre-winter. I don’t know how to refer to our seasons any more.
Yes, there were power outages (not here). Schools revised their schedules. I can hear the chorus of parents, from here. Close already. A delayed start is just prolonging the misery. But, that’s not my affair. Did my quality morning rushes, and then moved on.
A few shingles escaled protective custody, so right now the dog is on hig alert. Strange truck in the driveway, while someone qualified assesses our repair needs (ninor). The idea of a metal roof seems sensible, going forward. Apparently it isn not a few exchange, so we will weigh the advantages and disadvantages. It would make a dandly groundplane for antennas.
Fast forward to the professional consensus. Our roof is “new”, so we are better off to keep patching as we go. The factury was cpmservatove om the ise pf tar amd ptjer adjesoves’ mow we get to pay the back cost.
The bins were stored inside, last nigh. The garage, not the house proper. Chasing your refuse through a potato field is amusing, the first time around. Theny you learn a better strategey. The bins have wheelse. And the next day, you wheel them back outside. That’s my free advice for today. As a Corollory, do not overload the bins with anything you don’t want back inside.
