Are you branded?
Are you branded? Not in the sense of cowherding; cars. I have never owned my own car, but I do live in North America. I can tell you, chronologically, every car my father ever owned, including ones from personal prehistory.
And that’s where things get murky. It turns out that most of the people I ask are committed. Attached to a particular company. Although. When we asked our local mechanic, he confirmed that both he and his brother were “Ford guys”, who both drove Dodge products. I will give that some thought. You see, we’re trying to make an educated choice about the platform, shoulld we invest in another RV, and although the three common base models are available on Ford, Dodge and Mercedes frames, we are agnostic. Or innocent of what is hidden in common wisdom.
Making a choice is doubly tough, when the “home” is manufactured by firms that offer multiple variety. Price, colour schemes, motor and transmission. All important, and when you shop by proxy, it’s easy to be bewindered. Sometimes the price point is not the right pivot point.
Not rurshing into anything. The winter gives us some downtime. Breating time. If we bought tomorrow, we would then have to sit and dream until spring. Coupled with regular visits to do mouse alerts. Also, I don’t want to go south on a hunting trip. Too far.
Meanwhile, we are back into snow time, which means I have to find my boots. That’s an important life detail. Until you’ve run around in the snow, barefoot, are you truly Canadian? So, back to watching videos. Part of my personal education. That’s the only reason for wanting to make a measured choice of a brand.
