Setup redux
Does “practice makes perfect” make any sense? Realistically, all practice will do is serve to keep you humble.
I’m back upstairs from another session of setting up the traps. Sorry, drums. Old habit. I admit that I’m getting more familiar with which piece of the puzzle to move first (for the beginner, start with the carpet).
This time, my effort might be worthwhile. The drummer should be in the house, this week. I’m going on rumours here. The number of reasons for undo/redo has diminished, as the various collections of tiny children veer away. I might even get away with “leaving things set up”.
The rest of the house is away, but supper pangs will draw them back. The dog just started to bark at something. Today is a foggy day, vision-wise, and I’m delaying any more setup effort until I can call upon someone that can see the finished solution. I’ll provide guidance, and with enough experts, we will succeed.
As I had surmised, supper is now the important subject. I have no idea in what direction we will be aligned, but a food truck could be the best compromise.
Now, excuse me while I pretend that I’m providing guidance to others. I am bot, but if they delay reading this post until after dark, I might get past the guards.
Eventually, we should have visitors. No storm, no power failure.but I’m still a paragraph short. What to add? This was an unexceptional afternoon, and now I’m trying to make up for lost time. The “before dark” syndrome. If the thought stream seems a bit disjointed, blame it on my pressing need to finish before I eat, with my hunger pangs starting to rear their claws.
