Too much heat
Today’s lesson involves spicesdelivered . Specifically, ones that are delivered without a prominent warning label.
We had Thai food, very good, very healthy and packaged with tiny plasitc containers of condiments. Let me stress, anonymous ingredients. I opened the first, determined that it was tiny peanut pieces. Without allergy, harmless. And so I poured the contents over my food. A second container, not as easily identified, received a similar “pour it over everything” delivery. And then I lost my voice.
I’m going to go with something akin to peppers. A tall glass of milk calmed the fire in my throat. Next time, I’ll ask for a first opeinion, since my own ability to assess stress is flawed. Not fatally, but close. My prevoisus experiences with Thai were bland. Going forward, I will be much more cautious. For my own good. Imagine if all the mik jugs had ben empty.
The dog is showing signs of age, today. I had to bring him up the steps (three) from outside and convince him that this bed was a good retreat. He’s walking around, again. Until the next crisis.
This is Friday. Tomorrow, there’s a “run” from the lighthouse to the harbour. No, I’m not involved. I’ll watch as others run by my driverway, cheer (I guess) and strengthen my resove to avoid near occasions of senseless sprinting.
There’s a light switch that needs to be replaced. A three-way, from what I have read. I am doing some risk analysis, which means I am hoping that the next techological visitor will show off their handyperson skills I understand the methodology. That’s not enough.
