Another step toward (Kodi) happiness
On the Island, whether or not depends. For the weather, I mean. The blizzard looks to have missed this area, completely. We had about 10% of the snow received a scant 50 km west of here; ditto for the winds. Mind, we were storm stayed just the same, given that all the plows were parked out of harm’s way.
Another day with my media mess, and I think I’ve solved the problems. The Plex server was there, just not accepting client attaches. Checked the server logs and decided to “start again”. Uninstall, wipe the registry and logs. Reinstall… and all us now good.
As well, in reading I found another recipe for Kodi happiness. Now, I have more data streams than I would have believed. Sure, it can’t be watched all at thevsame time. Choices. Right now I’m in headphone seclusion, listening to a classic rock station from across the pond. No ads, obviously. Let me mention that a Pi in a proper case is neat and proper, and my wire count is dropping steadily. Maybe there’s a reason for Bluetooth…
Tried my first steak prepared in an air fryer. I’m impressed! No greasy fungers, no greasy anything. Cleanup in a jiffy. No smoke detector alerts. Plus, it has the Good Housekeeper Seal of Approval (unlike my traditional efforts with the two ovens). There were even veggies on my plate, beyond the usual sliced tomato. I’ll test further, but this could save my reputation in the kitchen.
