Roasting will be better, for sure

“You’re fired!” was the punch line in his previous job. After all, he was running a reality TV show, where he played the merciless boss. Now he has a new job title, but the skills from his last gig have already come in handy. Last night, the president fired the attorney general (acting) as well as the person responsible for immigration policies. After all, in the private sector, one doesn’t agree with the boss and get away with it. Why would high-level public service be any different?

Are we scared yet? You bet we are! The new guy isn’t like the old guy (nor did he particularly like the old guy. And the new guy is so self-confident that he has already filed the paperwork necessary to go for an additional four years. Keeps the money spigot open. As for a third term… currently it’s against the “constititution”, whatever that is. Give the man time, and he’ll edit that as well.

I’d best stop paying so much attention. Could drive me into psychosis.

I received the roasting rack I ordered last week. I’m underwhelmed, but if it helps me get the meat “brown all around”, I’ll accept the flimsy construction. Has to be better than my stick a fork in both sides and lean the whole thing over on an angle process I’ve been going with. Maybe it will multi-purpose… not just beef but ham and pork and chicken and… I think you get the idea. I don’t roast pizza, so that won’t be a test case.
