Fueled by memes and biscuits
In a world fed by memes, my favourite from today shows a privet hedge. A quiet announcement that Canada was building a wall; more precisely, growing a wall. However, the plants would have millions of discrete thorns, ready to deflate the ego of any politician that tries to cross in our direction.
Moving right along, another one. This time, someone presenting their certificate announcing the completion of 20 hours in Conversational French, from a local community school. And the reminder that the holder was now more qualified than almost all of the aspirants to the leadership of one of our national political parties.
Meanwhile, I’m nursing my foot after stepping on something small and pointed. Nope, it wasn’t a Lego block. The dog dropped a corner from one of his treasured hardtack biscuits, and I can attest to the durability of the food. Is it food? Unsure, but he does request one at almost any time during waking hours. In fact, I’m wondering how they taste. Well, wondering. Not actually going to try my turn. After all, I’ve got grapes and cheese.
Put some more time into the puzzle of my webcam configuration. The software now claims that I’m successful in activating the “share”, but I still haven’t figured out where my image files are actually landing. Good thing I’m under no pressure to get this done on anyone’s timeline (other than my own). By the time I have a solution, the snow might well be gone, continuing my lie that winter doesn’t come by here.
