New augmented reality meal

posted in media |

Today’s version of augmented reality: that can of chili from the local market with all the extra ground beef I found in the fridge. Not bad, actually.

Proof that there’s not much on TV right now: an onscreen fireplace with a mix of carols from the C&W catalogue. I feel pain.

The dog agrees that we need a new selection of biscuits. Preferably, something larger than those ones I hide in my fist, while he tries to feign enthusiasm.

My plan, this afternoon, was to go and “find the Fountainhead”. Incidentally, not lost… and then the fog rolled in and the ship sailed past in stealth mode (with the horn sounding). We didn’t go, because I’d hate to set off a search and rescue alert. Sure, it’s warm, but there’s a lot of forest out there.

Looks as though Ottawa and Montreal are going to begin winter before us. Forecasted chaos during morning rush hour(s).

We’re gifting our unused video projector to the progeny.  Haven’t turned it on (should…) for a couple of years, so that stands as proof of our not needing the beast. I haven’t seen their living space, but the request came through the usual channels, and I believe in trying to please.

I wonder if anyone is archiving the silly social media content from south of here. Worse than any playground I’ve ever supervised. When was the last time a commander-in-chief-to-be actually noticed that late night TV is lampooning him/her? Going to be a long time until the next decade begins.
