Perhaps I need a new direction

posted in environment |

What if you received some advice? From a fortune stick, or one of those odd cookies that they serve with rice and ribs. Or while flipping idly through a self-help manual. Something like “Do something different”. What would you choose as your next move?

Here’s an image, that leaves me wondering if I could go off in a whole new direction…

Eco Bee Box

Eco Bee Box

While you decode the whole affair, I’ll continue. I don’t particularly like stinging insects. While “the taste of honey” is a great title for a jazz song, the actual sweetness and stickiness (combined) isn’t that much of a need, right now. But, if I kept a bunch of busy bees around, the wild flower cover would pick right up, so that’s a positive thing. Now, I’m not ready to order my own queen in a box, or learn to tame thousands of angry spirits, but the structure is artistically attractive. I’d love to point “it” out to a friend and say that my skills in crafting bits of wood had evolved to that point.

There must be something else I can do with all my new “free time”; I just want to leave behind something of substance.

Tomorrow, I think I’ll pack a few more boxes. I feel healed, and the basement “won’t clean itself”, or so I’ve been told. Maybe the dog can learn a new trick or two. There must be something I can throw away, and I’d love to rediscover a treasure or two. Maybe I’m richer than I think.
