Boxed and carried away
This was a good day.
Some of the tasks on my list were erased by the efforts of other. At least they won’t be there when I return… If I return… The calendar is finally on my side.
That box of office oddities was taped and taken away. I can sort that part of my life out later, with my own garbage bin to collect the too little too late. Heavy, but hardly enough to represent half a lifetime. Cue the 45rpm version of “Is that all there is?” Symphonic overtones permitted.
Helped clear out the second floor area this morning: 11 about to be renewed cubicles. Lots of loose wires and a pile of LCD screens and telephones. The oddest request came when some asked me to leave the network printer until the end, in case the urge to print (uncontrollably) arose. Didn’t happen.
Oh, and I converted my longs into shorts – pants, you understand. Hot afternoon.
Subway is serving lobster. Unlike earlier attempts this time around you can see the Homarus parts. Congratulations.
Engaged in a long chat with one of my sisters; to think that I spent years avoiding KB 2 KB. It can be more convenient, in a multitasking world, than trying to hold a handset to the ear and trying to do other things.
Enough stringing words into sentences. The evening is young, and I almost slept through my alarm clock this morning. First time in years. I should get a good night’s sleep, so that I can be amazing tomorrow.
