“Everything is Awesome”
Thanks to a carefully orchestrated intervention in the biosphere, summer has been saved. That’s an alternative way to say that I turned the pool filter on this afternoon, and after the purchase of (yet) another pressure gauge, all is in order. The water may be a distasteful shade of green (or brown, I am not sure), but with a few days of filtration and some chemical shock…
The water police haven’t arrived; my decision to add from the handy hose will help in getting the depth to an acceptable level. Myst remember to turn things off.
While at the hardware store, I noticed that they are never really prepared for the June One influx. The aisles are too narrow for rookie shoppers with carts. There is an abundance of everything seasonal, but no signs as to where stuff is stowed; the guy with the phone pointed in the general direction of the pressure gauges and I kept searching until I found what I wanted. Highly ineffective shopping syndrome.
Son #1 brought over the honey hound, and she spent the rest of the afternoon barking at anything that moved. Not good for napping…
This evening, we decided to watch the Lego Movie. Best to have a fully developed case of ADHD, to appreciate the mood shifts. I was most impressed by the “sword of X-act Zero” and will shop for my own. Along with that floaty ghosty thing. And for the record, very few little yellow-faced figurines were destroyed in the making of the movie. The risk was palpable.
