Just a few questions

posted in economy, technology |

It’s getting to the point where, several times a week, I receive telephone calls. No, really! From total strangers who just want to get my opinion, or verify if my opinion has changed since the last time they took my “pulse”.

Well, those caring individuals lose that interest as soon as I interject my “new corporate policy”. The simple request for payment of $100 US, either by purchase order or credit card number, seems to remove all further desire to continue the call. Oh sure, some are puzzled; I simply remind them that my data is as valuable to me as it is to their employer. Puzzle solved.

In a quote from “BUSINESS” magazine, money is simply stored information.
