Where do I know you from?

Tonight, George (he who has a red chair) left me with an intellectual challenge. Try to see, and then remember, all the movies that have had Judy Greer in the cast. What with ninety-one credits on IMDB (and counting), this could be a toughie.

Funny how certain actors seem to get work, always. I’m not counting the people who deliver hundreds of episodes in TV land, although Judy has done a fair bit of work there, too. It takes talent, and a certain chameleonic (it’s a word, OK.) personality. To be fair, that defines acting. Anyhow, when someone can get a character handle, over and over and over again, they’re doing something right.

Checking on the ice in the Gulf. Yes, there is some, this year, despite climate change. It gets worse on the way to the Rock, where ferries are staying for hours with a view of bumpy white. Ice breakers, necessary.

Something called the “Heartbleed bug” has complicated the lives of a lot of people. Including me, I guess. The tax people can’t accept my return right now, which means they get to keep any possible refund for even longer. Not that they care about such things, since the governments don’t pay interest on held monies. I’m not sure how many web sites might be sharing my details with the world, but a lot of programmers and analysts will be stuck inside this weekend.

And, in closure, the best question of the afternoon: Is it a geep or a shoat? Go ahead, Google it. Not markedly different from either of the forebears.
