Gifted with (bit)coin?

posted in economy |

This is just an idea, but… there is now a Bitcoin ATM in the city. If I was to stand nearby with a needy expression, might someone gift me. Just a bit of a bitcoin. And then I could wait for the currency to skyrocket (which it does from time to time), and sell off before the downward run. No worse than buying a lottery ticket, and definitely new high-tech. I’ll wait a few days, and check the address on Google.

Figured out what to do with the single steak in the fridge. Besides the obvious. The dog tried to convince me he was needy (see the above paragraph), but I decided to carefully slice it into very thin strips. Once fried with some spices and an onion, it made an excellent filler for a sandwich.

Here’s another quandary. Tomorrow marks the start of a new season of Game Of Thrones. Season Four. IMDB grade of 9.5, which is stratospheric. And I’ve not watched the show. Other than outtakes and ads, of course. So… should I dive in and start watching, enjoying the story for where it is, or should I find an archive set and binge? Not much time for watching all those hours of high drama, but unless I go into isolation with an ebook, there’s the ongoing risk of spoilers.

Today, I learned that polar bears visit St. Anthony. Just like me. I’ve been in the same space (if not time) as the white terror. I am so impressed with the whole idea!
