Olympic tailwind
The Turin games are over. My preferred memory will be the dragon-harp, shooting out tongues of fire as the strings were beaten with timpani mallets.
On the tailwind, the Scott Tournament of Hearts is on TV. Colleen Jones is showing her genius. More Canadian than that, I’m at a loss.
The ECMA webcasts continue to be “interesting” although the browser suddenly dies after a few minutes each time, and my anti-virus has complained. I didn’t realize that software had musical tastes. I did catch a lobby-cast of a young fiddler that might be the one we saw on the PEI ferry, along with an electronic bagpiper. I’m not sure, and the performance list is spotty.
Only one week until March break. We might travel. We might get a dog. So many uncertainties in life.
