Revisiting tables
As Forecast, the second round of restaurant visits is underway. The Bonsai is still offline, and so we avoided the Greco and returned to the Bluefin. The chowder remained excellent. In fact, the best we’ve found in close to three weeks of random samples. Unfortunately, we stepped away from the fish side of the menu and were somewhat disappointed. Out of three different plates, none were up to the standard of the famished camper.
The coyotes were on duty shortly after sundown, and remained in ear view throughout the better part of the night. Nothing close to the campground, so the idea of a revisited table of tourist pets didn’t happen, but one poor little black puppy stayed very nervous through the show.
We’re getting close to the end of this leg of our trip and the “fridge” is empty. Thankfully there are still lots of half-empty potato chip sacks, so nobody will starve. Malnutrition is not equal to starve, right? I had finished another book and turned in before the fireside music started. Seems like I missed someone who had sung with someone who knew someone that I knew. Names were not part of the details.
The windmills still aren’t making much noise.
