One day closer to the (long) weekend. Actually, even a short weekend would be welcome. I’ll accept what the calendar offers. The week is dragging right along, and today was a particularly noisy one; the youngsters were in from school, and sitting quietly wasn’t part of the plan. I received the memory chip I ordered for the new phone; imagine: 48 GB of RAM in something that is supposed to serve to talk to others. Hardly. I’ve got a new, portable movie player. That should make the bus ride home go a little faster.
Mittens will address the congregation this evening. If all goes as planned, there may be a few apostates more come Monday.
The hospital called, to say that the dog was awake and alert. Forgot to add the obvious. The dog is seriously wondering about what happened while he was asleep. If ever the subject comes up, please remember the story – aliens.
For the last few seasons, we’ve been offered a line of advertising by a virtual bank. The bank in question just got swallowed by one of the big “real” banks. Which begs the question: Does this mean user fees? I’ll be watching (and the next round of commercials should be particularly poignant.)
Back to the movie. It ends in Newfoundland, and Ms. Kelly is the real thing.
