The Server’s Back Up

posted in computing |

The replacement print server from Motorola has been installed, so printing will require less calisthenics than we’ve put up with here for the last few weeks. As I sit here with the remaining crumbs in my potato chip bowl, I’m not sure that’s a good thing.

The election campaign continues, with only the attack ads left before the rest of the nation votes on Monday. I live in an area where the Bloc candidate is assured of victory. Where else would a political party run with its announced and intended goal is neither to win nor to serve as official opposition to the government? If you aren’t in power you can’t be blamed for anything, and the pay cheque smells just as nice.

I’m listening to odd excerpts from a three album compilation of rockabilly from before I was born. Serendipity.
